Kane Richardson is an Australian international cricketer who has played domestic cricket for South Australia and the Melbourne Renegades and international cricket for Australia in both One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. He has also been a part of teams like Pune Warriors India, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Rajasthan Royals. Moreover, Richardson played for Australia’s Under-19 team and won the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup with them.   • A majority of his childhood was spent growing up in Darwin in the Northern Territory.
  • In 2009, it was announced that Kane Richardson would be a part of Australia’s under-19 squad for their tour of India ahead of the 2010 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
  • He was bought by the Pune Warriors in the 2013 IPL player’s auction for $700,000, the 3rd-highest price of any player that season. He had only played 6 first-class matches to that point.
  • For the 2014 IPL, Kane Richardson was bought by the Rajasthan Royals with whom he played 7 matches and took 11 wickets.
  • Rajasthan Royals retained him for the 2015 IPL as well but Richardson withdrew from the tournament due to personal reasons.
