Born on April 1, 1939, Rudolph Bernard Isley was 84 years old when he passed away. Cincinnati was the birthplace of the second of Sallye (Bell) and O’Kelly Isley’s six sons.

In 2006, Rudy attended his brother Ronnie’s wedding as best man to his backing vocalist, Kandy Johnson. For a long while, Rudy and his wife resided in Otisville, New York, before moving to Olympia Fields in Chicago in 2013.

They purchased R. Kelly’s former residence to be nearer to their kids and grandkids.
